In Apr, 1969, No.2 Carburetor Plant was set up, the plant number is 5762.

In 1975, fueling system products (carburetor, petrol pump, etc) matching EQ240S, braking system products (braking valve, quick exhausting valve) and nonferrous die castings (nipple, balking ring rough, gearbox case, etc) were put into production, and the annual producing capacity reached 1500 sets.

In 1986, Carburetor Plant developed parallel dual circuit braking valve independently and put it into production smoothly.

In Jan, 1986, Rao Bing and Machinery Department Minister ZhouZi jian came to visit and inspect the plant.

In May, 1987, State Commissary DuanJun yi came for inspection.

In May, 1989, Machinery Department Minister HeGuang yuan came for visiting.

In Jan, 1990,the Vice nomarch of Hubei Province came to visit the plant.

In Jul, 1991,when the Vice Premier of the State Council ZhuRong ji came to inspect No.2 Automobile Plant, he sincerely talked to senior engineer GuoPu cong of the Carburetor Plant.

In 1995, 3-ton vehicle using braking master cylinder with vacuum strengthener was put into production.

In Sep, 1996, Dongfeng Carburetor Co.,Ltd was founded and came into the first son-company ranks of Dongfeng Company.

In Dec, 1997, Dongfeng Carburetor Company was ISO9001 Quality Operating System certificated.

In 1998, the project “ the developing of 3-ton vehicle using braking master cylinder with vacuum strengthener assembly “ won the second rank award in Dongfeng Company.

In 1998, “ The Research and Using of the Craft and Technology of Improving Copper Alloy Die Mould's Lifespan” project won the second award, and at the same time this project won the third rank award of Hubei Province Science and Technology Achievement Award.

At the beginning of 1999, the company regularly merged into Dongfeng Electronic Instrument Co.,Ltd, and the company's name was changed to Dongfeng Electronic Instrument Co.,Ltd Carburetor Company.

In Apr,2000, two types of big style die castings----clutch shell and gear-box cover won gold and silver award in the Second International Die Casting Conference and die castings' appraisal and comparison in exhibition meeting.

In Dec,2000, successfully passed the QS9000 Quality Operation Certification.

In Dec,2000, the products EQH102D carburetor, EQB601 petrol pump and parallel dual circuit brake valve were chosen as” products sold best in Hubei Province in 2000” by Hubei Statistic Bureau Information Center.

In Jan,2001, the company's products nonferrous die castings, fueling system and braking system products won the title of “ products satisfied customers well from 1999 to 2000” awarded by Hubei Customers Committee.

In May,2001, Dongfeng Science and Technology Carburetor Company passed QS9000 Quality System certification.

In Dec,2002, the “95” scientist research project<< magnesium alloy die castings' using>> passed the national auditing and acceptance, it filled up the blank of this technology domestic.

In Jan, 2002, the company passed the ISO14001 Environment Operating System certification.

In Sep , 2002 , won the title of “Unit that observes contract and credit” of Hubei Province in 2002.

In Dec 2003,the die casting industry as a whole was separated from Dongfeng Electronic Technology Co.,Ltd Automobile Braking System Company , and set up Dongfeng Nonferrous Die Casting (Shiyan) Company .

In Apr, 2004, was ISO/TS16949 Quality System certificated by French BVQI Company.
